about
the longer version.
I'm Raushan Kumar, an engineer working across ai and product. The short version of the job: figure out what's worth building, build it, and ship it — usually somewhere in the messy middle where a model's behaviour and a user's expectations meet.
Most of my day is product work with a strong engineering bias: turning a vague "we should use ai here" into something with a defined input, a measurable output, and a feedback loop that keeps it honest. That means a lot of prototyping, a lot of evaluation, and a willingness to throw away the first three attempts.
how i work
I like small surfaces and fast loops. A rough thing in front of a real user beats a polished thing in a doc. I write things down — this site is part of that habit — because the notes are usually where the next idea comes from.
On the tools side: TypeScript and Python most days, a static site when a static site will do, and as little client-side machinery as I can get away with.
